ChristineREADPassed away peacefully at Royal Derby Hospital on 4th December 2025 aged 84 years.

A beloved wife to her late husband Brian and wonderful sister, aunt, great aunt, and a great friend to so many over the years. Christine will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held at Markeaton Crematorium (Round Chapel) on Monday 19th January at 1pm.

Family flowers only please. Any donations in Christine's memory will support The Nightingale Macmillan Unit at Royal Derby Hospital and can be made online or given at the service.

We have been friends with Chris for over 40years. Over this time we have had so many good times and laughs together, including the boats holidays we shared with her and Brian. She will be greatly missed by us all. Sue, Paul, Sam, Rachael and Harry.
